US 101, the Ventura Freeway, crosses the city from exit 40 at Westlake Boulevard to exit 47C at Wendy Drive, and then there is no exit until Camarillo Springs Road, because between them is the Conejo Grade: a 7 percent climb to a summit of 841 feet, with the CHP truck scales at the top on both sides.
